How do I book?
My calendar opens at 5pm on the 1st of every month for the following month (i.e. 1st Feb for appointments in March) for new clients. I strongly advise setting a reminder as appointments book up very quickly, usually within 48 hours.

Do you run a waiting list for cancellations?
I don’t operate a waiting list or cancellation list, as I’m a one-woman business. Instead, all cancellations are posted on my social media stories and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To be the first to see any cancellations, you can turn on notifications for my Instagram stories by clicking the bell icon in the top right corner of my profile.

What should I expect when visiting Makara?
When you arrive, we'll have a chat about your goals for the session, how you're feeling, how you'd like to feel afterward, and any areas you'd like to prioritize. You'll then have a moment to remove any necessary clothing before your session begins. Whether you'd like to chat or simply relax, I'll follow your lead.
After the session, I'll step out to give you time to unwind and get ready at your own pace. It's important to stay hydrated afterward, so be sure to drink plenty of water. Avoiding caffeine and alcohol is also recommended.

How do I join Makara Monthly Newsletter?
Makara Monthly is exclusively for existing clients, allowing me to prioritize my regulars. When you book your first appointment at Makara Therapy, you'll have the option to join. Membership gives you early access to my booking calendar, special discounts, and more.

Cancellation Policy
As a small business, I have a strict policy in place to protect my income:
- Appointments canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment time will incur a 50% charge.
- Same-day cancellations (after 9 PM the night before) or no-shows will be charged the full appointment cost.
To help you remember, email and text reminders are sent out 72 hours before your appointment, giving you plenty of time to cancel or reschedule without a fee.
